  • Users may not allow third parties to use their account.
  • Each User may only create one account.
  • If a minor (a person who has not reached the age of majority under applicable law; in Japan, a person under 18 years of age) uses the Service, the minor must obtain the consent of a parent, guardian, or other legal representative before using the Service. The Company may rescind any registration or order placed by a minor without legal representative consent.

  • The Service includes the following features:
  • - Image upload and processing
  • - 3D model generation
  • - Creation storage and management
  • - Ordering and delivery of 3D printed products

4.2 Changes and Termination of Service

  • The Company may change or terminate the content of the Service without prior notice to Users.
  • The Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from the termination of the Service.

4.3 Manufacturing and Delivery

  • The delivery dates displayed in the Service are estimates only and do not constitute a guarantee of confirmed delivery dates.
  • Delivery may be delayed due to manufacturing process conditions, material procurement status, force majeure events (including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemics, wars, strikes, logistics delays, and other circumstances beyond the Company's control).
  • Users acknowledge and agree in advance to potential delivery delays due to the above circumstances.

4.4 Express Delivery Option

  • When the express delivery option is selected, the Company will prioritize manufacturing with a target of shipping within 3 business days from the business day following the order acceptance.
  • However, this timeframe is an estimate only and does not guarantee a confirmed shipping date.
  • Even when the express delivery option is selected, shipping may be delayed due to manufacturing process conditions, material procurement status, force majeure, or other circumstances.
  • The express delivery option fee is compensation for prioritized manufacturing initiation and does not guarantee a shipping date.
  • No refunds of the express delivery option fee will be provided even if shipping is delayed due to the above circumstances.

Article 5 (Fees and Payment)

5.1 Pricing

  • The fees for using the Service shall be as displayed on the Service.
  • Orders for 3D printed products include product price, shipping, and applicable taxes.
  • Fees may be changed without prior notice.

5.2 Payment Methods

  • Payment is processed through the payment system provided by Stripe, Inc.
  • Available payment methods include credit cards and debit cards.
  • The settlement currency is automatically determined based on the market selected by the User (Japan market: Japanese Yen (JPY) / US market: US Dollar (USD)). Users cannot select the currency individually.
  • The payment flow consists of: card authorization, prior agreement confirmation by the Company, and actual capture immediately before shipment.
  • Payment information is sent directly to Stripe using Stripe Elements technology from the User's browser, without passing through our servers.

5.3 Refund Policy

Products provided through the Service are custom-manufactured (Made-to-Order) items produced individually after the User's order. Due to the nature of the products, we do not accept returns, refunds, or cancellations for customer convenience in principle. However, only in the cases below will we remake and reship the same item (no return is required).

  • If damage upon arrival is identified, please contact our customer support (support@framescanvas.com) within 7 days of receipt with photos showing the damaged condition. We will remake and reship the same item — no return is required (please dispose of the damaged item yourself).
  • We do not accept any returns, refunds, or cancellations due to User convenience.
  • We do not accept returns, refunds, or remakes due to design errors or uploading incorrect images.
  • If a return becomes necessary in exceptional cases (e.g., undeliverable packages), the return shipping cost shall be borne by the customer. Products must be shipped to the return address designated by the Company (located in Japan).
  • For international returns, arrival confirmation shall be made based on Japan Standard Time (Asia/Tokyo).
  • In the exceptional event a refund is issued, it will be made in the original settlement currency paid at the time of order (JPY or USD), in accordance with Stripe's specifications. The Company does not bear any differences due to exchange rate fluctuations.
  • Refund processing will, in principle, be initiated to Stripe within 5 business days of the date the Company approves the refund. The time it takes for the refund to be reflected on your statement after Stripe processes it depends on each card issuer's processing cycle, but typically takes approximately 5 to 10 business days. Depending on the timing of your statement closing date, the refund may be reflected as an offset on a subsequent month's statement.

Article 6 (International Shipping)

The Service ships products from our facility in Japan, including to destinations outside of Japan (international shipping). The following terms apply to international shipping orders:

6.1 Shipping Origin and Service

  • Shipping origin: Japan (Osaka Prefecture)
  • Shipping service: Japan Post ePacket Light (国際eパケットライト)
  • Maximum weight: 2 kg per package. Packages exceeding 2 kg cannot be shipped.

6.2 Customs Duties and Import Taxes (DDU: Delivered Duty Unpaid)

  • Any customs duties, import taxes, customs clearance fees, value-added taxes (VAT/GST), and any other public dues imposed by the destination country on products shipped outside of Japan shall be borne entirely by the customer (recipient).
  • These taxes and fees are not included in the amount we charge at checkout (product price + shipping + sales tax). They are outside the scope of Stripe Tax's automatic calculation.
  • These charges will be collected by the destination country's customs authority or delivery carrier upon receipt. Please be aware of this in advance.
  • If a product is returned or disposed of because the customer refuses to accept it or refuses to pay customs duties or import taxes, the Company shall not be obliged to issue a refund. Additionally, the Company may charge the customer for the return shipping costs incurred.

6.3 Transit Time

  • The Company's commitment extends only to the Ship Date (出荷日). Transit time after shipment is not guaranteed.
  • Any transit time displayed in the Service is an estimate only and does not guarantee a confirmed arrival date.
  • Transit time may vary significantly due to customs clearance in the destination country, the condition of delivery carriers, and force majeure events (natural disasters, epidemics, wars, strikes, air/logistics delays, etc.).

6.4 Delivery Method

  • Japan Post ePacket Light is delivered by mailbox drop-off without requiring a signature upon receipt.
  • Tracking functionality is provided, but tracking information may not be updated for certain segments depending on the destination country.
  • If delivery cannot be made due to the structure of shared entrances, mailboxes, etc., or due to recipient absence, unknown address, or similar reasons, redelivery conditions shall follow the rules of each country's postal carrier.

6.5 Reshipment for Damage and Exceptional Return Cases

As stated in Article 5.3, returns are not accepted in principle because the Service provides custom-manufactured (Made-to-Order) products. In case of damage upon arrival, we only remake and reship the same item without requiring any return. This section governs the handling of exceptional cases where a return becomes necessary (e.g., undeliverable packages).

  • If a return becomes necessary in exceptional cases (e.g., undeliverable packages), the return shipping cost shall be borne by the customer.
  • The return destination shall be an address designated by the Company within Japan. The return address will be provided separately by email.
  • Any customs duties or customs clearance fees incurred for the international return shipment shall also be borne by the customer.

The above business partners are companies headquartered in the United States. While the data itself is processed and stored in Japan regions, because the parent companies are US-incorporated, theoretically there remains a possibility of access requests to personal data from foreign government agencies under foreign laws such as the US CLOUD Act (Clarifying Lawful Overseas Use of Data Act). • We have contracts with these business partners stipulating proper management of personal data and confidentiality.
  • Our business partners comply with industry-standard security standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.).
  • Because the parent companies of our business partners are US-incorporated, theoretically there remains a possibility of access requests to personal data from foreign government agencies under foreign laws such as the US CLOUD Act. We understand this external environment and implement technical and organizational security measures accordingly.
  • If we change the region configuration of our business partners in the future and a transfer outside Japan becomes necessary, we will revise this Privacy Policy and provide advance notice.
  • See Article 6 (Third Party Provision) and Article 5 (Security Measures) for details.
